Fans have practically begged Dustin Kensrue of Thrice for a follow-up to his 2007 debut solo album, Please Come Home. It's seriously that good. His solo work is the antithesis of the post-hardcore band that brought him fame; it's acoustic-based, bare, folk tales and opens Dustin's appeal to fans beyond the realm of Thrice. The songs are heart-felt and heart-breaking, making them incredibly relatable. Perhaps now that Thrice has announced an indefinite hiatus, Mr. Kensrue can record that second album we've all been (mostly) patiently waiting for.
