Award-winning choreographer Seán Curran has come a long way since the dyas of paying dances in his troupe in subway tokens. Started in 1997 with the eponymous title Seán Curran Company, the dance group fuses traditional Irish steps with contemporary movements and has toured the country to consistent acclaim. Curran brings his company to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts this week, but be warned (or excited): The opening piece, Aria/Apology, contains adult themes, so those underage or sensitive to a little dirty dancing may want to avert their eyes.
