On the Cusp

“Three bands. New to us, new to you,” reads the slogan of Detroit's New Music Tuesdays. This week features current unknowns Azure Down, Mister Loveless and Echo Revolution. The good news is that there's no cover charge but at five bucks a pop for a gallon of gas, you could be forgiven for being a little apprehensive about making the trip. After all, new music is always a crap shoot. Luckily, your good friends at the Weekly are kind enough to break it down for ya: Azure Down is a dreamy, trippy blend of experimental prog. Mister Loveless is quirky-yet-posh indie rock and Echo Revolution leans more towards theatrical pop. Sound like something you're into?
