You know those massive EDM parties where kids show up in all white, take a bunch of ecstasy and get doused with colored powder? This isn't that. This is something actually worth doing. The OC Color Dash is a 5K fundraiser to aid the American Heart Association and join the fight against heart disease and stroke. Like the aforementioned drug-children, participants begin the event wearing all white (pants, shorts, tanks, even tutus are encouraged), and at each kilometer, get showered with a different color to represent an aspect of heart health (red for healthcare, yellow for education, blue for community and green for research). At the end, you're covered in a beautiful, Pollock-esque rainbow, doing your part to help a very important cause, and riding a lovely, natural high of endorphins.
