Not many people in the world could ever survive such a harrowing experience like being in an avalanche and still tell the tale, yet photographer and mountaineer Kuntai Joisher did; Joisher was swept up in the April 2015 avalanche on Mt. Everest that killed nine and a half thousand people in Nepal, and leaving the rest injured or homeless. Joisher comes to Orange County today with photos of Manaslu Valleys and Mt. Everest, as well as documentation of the avalanche's aftermath to fundraise for the people in Nepal still struggling to regain a sense of stability.
