National Theater Live: Coriolanus

The only thing better than going to the theater is going to the movies—since everyone enjoys both pop and popcorn combined with the sound of seats popping as your annoying neighbor keeps getting up to use the restroom. But —sit tight, everybody—National Theater Live is getting all meta and blowing everyone’s minds with their broadcast of live theater on a movie screen! You’re welcome. This latest round of NTL’s show features William Shakespeare’s Coriolanus (shown straight from London in HD), starring Thor villain Tom Hiddleston as the complicated Caius Marcius Coriolanus, a principled war leader who returns home to a broken city, defects to the side of his former enemy, and then gets assassinated. It’s a real feel good story. Bring your kids!
