Family Mornings at the Museum

It’s winter break for schools, and the kids are either running around like mad people or glued to the computer—for two very long weeks. In anticipation of this, Bowers Museum has introduced a new program called Family Mornings at the Museum, during which families can take a docent-led tour through the “Acorns to Artists” exhibit. About the Native Americans who lived in Southern California, the exhibit allows children to touch artifacts, play games, and make arts and crafts. Family togetherness is nice and all, and though this might be a tad on the educational side of things, just assure the kids Call of Duty: Black Ops can wait until they get home.
