Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Scored With Pipe Organ
There are two sides to every coinand two sides to every man as well. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde tells the tale of well-respected Dr. Jekylls hypothesis that only once the two sides of a man are separated can he truly become liberated. As his experiments progress and his evil side is set free to run wild in the form of Mr. Hyde, the good Dr. Jekyll realizes the liberation he sought has actually bound him in a prison of regret. Just in time for Halloween, Segerstrom Concert Hall will project the 1920 film version of this classic tale starring John Barrymore and accompanied by a live score from the 4,322-pipe organ by Dennis James. Missing such a spine-tingling experience will surely leave you with some regrets of your own.
