See update at the end of this post about the Twitter war Jason Miller and UFC president Dana White engaged in two days before the arrest of “Mayhem.”
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Jason “Mayhem” Miller, 31, of Mission Viejo once had a promising career fighting with UFC, Strikeforce and WFA, but after a loss in May to C.B. Dollaway, president Dana White declared Mayhem's UFC career was over.
Now comes word Miller was arrested this morning inside Mission Hills Church on Alicia Parkway in Mission Viejo. Naked . . . and it gets weirder.
The same church reported a broken window Saturday night that was promptly boarded up. The first sign something was amiss today was when the pastor noticed the board had been removed.
Inside, several books and CDs had been scattered on the first floor, which had received a coating of fire extinguisher residue. After finding similar residue on the second floor, the pastor decided it was a good time to call the Orange County Sheriff's Department around 9 a.m.
Responding deputies conducted a search that culminated in finding Miller on a couch, buck naked, according to sheriff's officials, who add the 6-foot-1, 185-pound brawler was coherent and complied as he was placed under arrest on suspicion of burglary and held for mental observation.
Miller, who has trained at the Reign Training Center in Lake
Forest and Kings MMA in Huntington Beach, has also popped up on Sirius satellite radio's The Jason Ellis Show, ringside with Michael Schiavello announcing King of the Cage and as host of Bully Beatdown on MTV and MTV2.
Mayhem was fully clothed for those gigs, though.
UPDATE, AUG. 15, 12:17 P.M.: Two days before “Mayhem” arrest, he was engaged in a Twitter war with Dana White, the UFC president who “retired” the fighter.
To be honest, the back-and-forth order gets confusing as we pick up on the next page.
