5. Sigur Ros, Valtari (Parlophone)
Oh, Jonsi. You and your Icelandic band of ethereal misfits never fail to astound with your Vonslenska and other weirdness. You deserve number five just for your sheer creative edge. Not to mention this sweet album cover.
4. Beach House, Bloom (Sub Pop)
I gotta say, the new Beach House album is pretty damn good. Good enough for number four at Second Spin this week, to be precise. The fourth album by these dream poppers is as dreamy as ever, and although they might not be having any more teen dreams anymore, they're still going strong.
3. Lana Del Rey, Born to Die (Interscope)
Did Lana Del Rey release yet another single off her explosive third studio album? The people at Second Spin speculated so, even though it's not — Del Rey's been hailed as the new Gaga for a while now, and it seems that her popularity is showing little signs of stopping now.
2. The Tedeschi Trucks Band, Everybody's Talkin' (Sony Masterworks)
Husband and wife blues duo (AWWWWWW) take the number two spot this week with their latest release, which is a 2-disc live album of material off their Revelator tour. The couple started touring together in 2010 so that the two would be able to focus time on touring and making music without having to spend time apart. Now isn't that sweet?
1. Jack White, Blunderbuss (Third Man Records)
Jack White's really killing it these days. For the second week in a row, he's taken the number one spot. Just goes to show that if you make a movie with Jimmy Paige and The Edge, you can get pretty popular. Good for you, Mr. White. Keep it up.
