Wheat Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (Palm and/or Sunflower and/or Cotton Seed and/or Rice Bran and/or Soy Bean Oil), Refined Coconut Oil, Sugar, Leavening Agents (Ammonium Bicarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate), Invert Syrup, Salt, Chilli Flakes, Yeast, Mono and Diglycerides, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylates, Sodium Metabisulphite Portease, Artificial Flavors (Butter & Chilli), Color (FD&C Yellow No. 5) And TBHQ (Antioxidant).
Why I Bought It:
With a name like “Snacky”, its destiny with a blog column called “Wacky Snacks” was nothing short of kismet. I'm imagining the people at the Sunfeast marketing department had this conversation.
“So, what do we name this new cracker?”
“I don't know, but it looks like like a Ritz.”
“How about Ritzy?”
“No, we'll get sued.”
“Ok, um. Well, it's a snack…so…Snacky?”
“Done. Let's get lunch.”
And they do taste exactly like Ritz crackers, though it's slightly less buttery and much less greasy. But for the shape, they literally used the same cookie cutter. If it weren't for the slowly building spiciness, it'd almost be a Ritz twin. These crackers don't just have chili flakes, but also chili seeds, which have a tendency to lodge themselves between your teeth like poppy seeds. They go quite well with a nice, cold beverage. Preferably something called “Drinky”.
