We just heard our first Christmas song on the radio, so all bets are off. It's time to talk about OC Weekly's next bash: Holiday Cheers! Save the date for December 11, from 2-5 p.m. at [AV] in Irvine. Celebrating our Eat, Drink & Be Merry issue, it'll be a Sunday afternoon to appreciate all things involving food, drink and shopping.
Fortunately, we've been granted permission to discuss all things beverage only (Gotta save a few surprises for later!) to whet your appetite. Some of our featured samples include Four Roses Bourbon, YNK (a.k.a. You Never Know), Angel City Brewery, Corona, Camus Cognac and Stella Artois! In addition, Tito's Handmade Vodka is not only serving samples, but will be the spirit of choice during a bartending competition. The quartet of contestants participating are none other than The Cellar Restaurant & Spirit Room, Boathouse Collective, Tribune and SOCIAL Costa Mesa.
Discounted tickets are still available through midnight tonight; just $30 for General Admission and $50 for VIP.
