Dec 11th • 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm • Musco Center for the Arts

Christmas in Mexico is intertwined with beloved traditions, from the children’s posada processions to all the joyous festivity and worshipful ceremony of Nochebuena, or Christmas Eve. Celebrate the holidays Mexican-style with this colorful evening of music and dance featuring two of L.A.’s most acclaimed performance ensembles: Ballet Folklórico de Los Ángeles (BFLA) and Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar. BFLA was founded in 2011 and though young, has worked with Grammy-winning artists such as Lila Downs, Pepe Aguilar and many more. The dance company recently collaborated with Disney Studios on performances celebrating Pixar’s Coco, sharing the stage with Natalia Lafourcade, Gael Garcia Bernal and Miguel at the Academy Awards. Mariachi Garbaldi de Jaime Cuéllar has delighted audiences for the past 20 years, evolving into one of the premier mariachi ensembles in California.
