Casa Theater: The Tempest

Casa Romantica is transformed into a remote island in a site-specific adaptation of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, performed by the Southern California Shakespeare Festival Guild. Directed by Sam Robinson and featuring SCSFG Artistic Director Linda Bisesti, this tale of enchantment, betrayal, revenge, and family will take place throughout the Casa Gardens, with guests encountering each scene promenade-style.

About the Southern California Shakespeare Festival Guild
The Southern California Shakespeare Festival Guild is a professional classical repertory theatre ensemble celebrating 16 years of presenting theatre to audiences across the region. The SCSFG is dedicated to nurturing the talents of adult and student artists. Through their work they endeavor to explore eternal human questions and to enlighten and entice contemporary audiences with the timeless relevance of Shakespeare’s plays. Casa Romantica audiences have been delighted and engaged by past work by the SCSFG including scenes from As You Like It and an original site specific adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream staged throughout the beautiful grounds and within the historic home.
