Zov’s isn’t one of those hipster dessert places where the ice cream is made out of waffle cones and the waffle cones are made out of ice cream. It’s OC dining royalty, of course, but way underrated for its desserts, especially at its Irvine location. A bakery is attached to the main restaurant, with an army of cookies, cakes and tarts available. The highlight is a delectable flourless chocolate cake, served cold and enclosed in folds of thin, solid chocolate.
