Iranian Election Protests in Irvine

Hundreds of protesters of all ages gathered at the intersection of Barranca Pkwy. and Jamboree Rd. just ouside the the District at Tustin Legacy shopping plaza on 6/18 in support of reform candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi. The participants, many of them wearing the color green in support of Mousavi, condemn the controversial results of the Iranian election that declared Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the winner. Similar protests are taking place worldwide.
