Home Haunt Turns Into Haunted Circus at Carnevil

The market for professional haunts seems booming for theme parks, but many people forget that part of the charm of Halloween is walking around your own neighborhood and seeing how far your neighbors will go to get into the spirit of the holiday. For two years in a row, Anaheim Hills resident Robert Hagmaier has turned his front lawn into the site for a full-blown fright house. With guests numbering in the hundreds for this free, Halloween only event, it is easy to see that the rest of the neighbors have had to stock up on candy for the trick-or-treaters, who heeded the call of Carnevil.
