First Annual OC Mud Run

Millenium Events' first annual OC Mud Run and Eco Fest attracted more than 8,000 competitors. In the words of photographer Keith May, "It was HUGE." The day featured two 5Ks and one 10K, plus one short Kids' Fun Run. The first race began at 8:30 in the morning—and it's what it sounds like. Plenty of mud. And running. The event also featured lots of eco-friendly vendors, plus the usual military and police recruiters on hand. The OC Mud Run took place on 7/18 in Hidden Valley, Irvine.
