An Ode to the Classic Vintage Storefront Signs of Long Beach

An Ode to the Classic Vintage Storefront Signs of Long Beach

Call us old-fashioned, but we're smitten over vintage signage and lucky enough to live near one of the meccas of antique advertisements. These colorful relics augment Long Beach's unique personalty and transport us back to a time when mom-and-pop shops vied to stand apart from each other and quality products were still being made in the U.S.

So the next time you're cruising down Broadway or Atlantic, make note of the plethora of quality vintage signage that still exists. The typography alone is enough to make our inner-graphic designer swoon. (City Center Motel, we're looking in your direction). We only hope these historic advertisements, that many take for granted, are here to stay.
