On October 1, 2011, the 10th Annual Interfaith Blessing of the Animals took place in Long Beach, right on the the concrete boat launch ramp next to Rosie's Dog Beach. No vendors, no contests. Just the blessings of your pets, big, small, domestic and barnyard. All images by Meranda Carter.
