Tonight: Baja Sharkeez Newport Beach Fundraiser for Japan

The always loud and festive Baja Sharkeez Newport Beach is stepping up to help the Japan relief effort by hosting a silent auction and raffle tonight from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. There's some serious loot up for bidding–Lakers and Angels tickets, autographed Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings equipment used by the players–and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami fund.

Other silent auction items include…
]

Los Angeles Kings autographed jersey
Long Beach Grand Prix VIP tickets
A month membership at Sub-Tek MMA
Taylor Made drivers and clubs
A month of spray tanning at Maui Tan
Miami Fit personal training sessions
Laser Derma Care Center botox session
Costa Mesa tattoo 2-hour session

They'll also be raffling off gift certificates and other items from:
Mama D's Restaurant, Hurley, Surfside Sport, Oakley, Vestal, Pirate
Coast Paddle Company, Message Envy and other companies.

“All of us watched in horror at what happened in Japan, and like most
Americans our first response was 'How can we help?'” writes general manager Eric Levit on the Sharkeez blog.  “So we got together
with some local friends to put together a night of fun and friends for a
good cause.”
