This week is turning out to become a sort of food-celebrity invasion at South Coast Plaza. Three noted chefs and cookbook authors are slated to make appearances and demos at various stores there–all this after recent appearances by Rick Bayless and Bobby Flay.
First, Michael Chiarello is showing up on Tuesday at his NapaStyle store in Crystal Court to talk about holiday entertaining. Then on Friday, Ina Garten (a.k.a. The Barefoot Contessa) will be at the Williams-Sonoma store for a book signing. That same Friday, but in the evening, Ming Tsai plans a cooking demo at Macy's Signature Kitchen.
