This Week In Food: Steaks For Breakfast, Changes for Lynda, and Bullshit For Food Writers

Here we are with another week in food, folks. Hopefully you'll be joining us at our ridiculously huge food party tonight – Decadence. If not, well then this blog is all you get.

Edwin had the amazing experience of going to Surfas Culinary District for his weekly review. He named the Flying Horse Lager from Royal Khyber the Drink of the Week, and told us that McDonald's is now serving steak for breakfast. They've kind of been having an identity crisis lately, no? Last, he wrote that over 1,000 people lined up to try the ramen burger in Torrance.

Dave came back with the sassiness that we love him for with a blog that called out bullshit food writers. Then he continued our build-up to the Best Of issue by naming some of his favorite dishes in the county: the omakase at Sushi Noguchi and the pescado zarandeado at Mariscos Los Primos.

Anne Marie talked with Brian Fast from Waff-N-Roll for her On The Line column. And speaking of waffles, she also announced the opening of Gaufree, a waffle-sandwich place in Irvine. She also wrote that Creamistry in Irvine is now open.

Gustavo reported that Lynda in Little Saigon is switching their approach and he gave us a preview of the next SoCal Restaurant show. To wrap it up, Sarah went to Sub King for her Long Beach Lunch.

Until next time, have a good one, from all of us at Stick a Fork In It.
