This Week In Food: Pruno Jars, A Dramatic Hangover Cure, and Tijuana's Highway Collapse

Happy New Year, folks! Let's take a look at what's happened so far in food…

Edwin went to The Empanada Maker in Mission Viejo for his print review then he gave us a list of his 10 essential restaurants in Anaheim, and the Restaurant Roll Call for December. Last, he told us that Brasserie Pascal at Fashion Island is closing. :/

Dave gave us updates on the highway collapse in Baja – luckily no was hurt, but the photo is rather surreal. Then he named the Little Canary from The Blind Pig as the Drink of the Week and shared, what he deems, the worst Kickstarter ever – a pruno jar.

Anne Marie announced that Dogzilla was ranked among Buzzfeed's “25 Most Popular Food Trucks” (as annoying as Buzzfeed is) and she interviewed Sharron Barshishat of Paninoteca Maggio for her On The Line review.

Gustavo visited Istanbul Grill in Fountain Valley for his Hole in the Wall review and then he gave us his top five drinks of 2013. Charles wrote about the disturbing new way to cure your hangovers in Vegas. And Sarah took us to Kafe Neo for her Long Beach Lunch.

Until next time, welcome to 2014, and have a good one, from all of us at Stick a Fork In It!
