This Week In Food: Pee-Wee's, Feminine Distilleries, and Don't Put That In a Can!

It's time for another food round up, let's take a look at this past week…

Edwin went to Seasons of Japan in Irvine for his print food review, then he told us to try the sauteed chicken at Cafe Hiro. He announced the opening date of Bonefish Grill in Tustin, and he wrote about the possibility of Playground opening up a bakery next door. There used to be a Mexican bakery there but, well, you know.

Gustavo visited Spice India for his Hole in the Wall column and he shared the winners of the Weekly/KCRW hot sauce contest. He picked five Mexican foods that never should've been put in a can, and he named the cydonia at Playground the Drink of the Week.

Anne Marie spoke with Joe Vieyra from Pee-Wee's Famous Hot Dogs and Hamburgers for her On The Line column, then she announced Noble Ale Works' upcoming CleanWaterFest with many tasty brews. Last she visited the newly opened Kolache Factory – a Texas dessert chain.

Charles showed us inventive ways to use dental floss with food and he told us that the first space-based microbrewery will begin operating in December. Dave named five distilleries that are owned by ladies and he told us to try the pizza di salsiccia e Friarielli at Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana. Sarah went to Kress Market for her Long Beach Lunch. Shuji raved about the prime gastro burger at Dublin 4, and Bill named five champion tacos in Baja.

Until next time, have a good one, from all of us at Stick a Fork In It!
