This Week In Food: Michelada VW Bus, Hangover Omelette, and Queen Mary Food Fests

Hi guys, hope everything's going swell with ya'll. Let's take a look at what happened this week in food…

Edwin went to Little La Lune, a Cambodian Restaurant in Long Beach, for his print review. He announced the resurrection of Pita Grill in Orange and also the opening of La Vida in Costa Mesa.

Gustavo visited Il Barone Bottega in Newport for his Hole in the Wall review. He told us to eat the fried chicken sammich at Little Sparrow and the breakfast taco at Sapphire Laguna. He also told everyone about the Michelada VW Bus at his wedding; if Michelada ain't your thing, just think of it as a beer van – awesome.

Anne Marie announced a couple of tasting events on The Queen Mary – one for tequila and one from bacon. She spoke with Christophe Jardillier of the Globe Gastropub and shared the “Better Brekkie” contest from Pie-Not.

Charles showed us more of his Reddit finds – this time of the worst omelette for hangovers. Sarah named the Greenshift IPA at Beachwood BBQ the Drink of the Week and she went to Roxanne's Lounge for her Long Beach Lunch.
