This Week In Food: Krispy Kreme Sloppy Joes, Candied Ribs, and Homemade Horchata!

Greetings ladies and germs, let's take a quick look at this week in food…

First, Edwin reviewed Eleven46 Kitchen and then he told us that Britta's Cafe in Irvine is closing. 🙁 He also shared Pho Thanh Lich's new location in Garden Grove.

Gustavo went to Lindo Michoacan #2 for his Hole in the Wall review. He gave us Geeta Bansal's first report from Mesamerica 2013 in Mexico City, and he told everyone to watch out for two middle aged women purporting to be Weekly food critics.

Michelle announced that the OC Fair is going to have Krispy Kreme sloppy joes. Why? We're not sure. Then she told us that Chipotle now offers tofu, and showed us some cool and functional food business cards.

Dave named the rose canyon margarita from Rose Canyon Cantina the Drink of the Week. He told us that the Pie Society bar has opened up behind Pitfire Pizza in Costa Mesa, and he reviewed Mama's Tortillas for Tortilla Tuesdays.

Anne Marie talked to Chef Greg Moro from Nieuport 17 for her On The Line column. Sarah took us to Crystal Thai Cambodian Cuisine for her Long Beach Lunch. Dave Mau gave us a recipe for candied ginger-sambal ribs, and I showed errbody how to make horchata!
