This Week In Food: Hatch Chiles, Hopscotch's Kitchen Walkout, and Shattering Craft Whisky Dreams

You better read this dining digest or I will stick a fork in you! Just kidding 🙂 But let's take a look at what happened this week…

Edwin went to PokiNometry in Anaheim for his food review. Then he continued our countdown of the Weekly's favorite dishes with the 10-item plate at Thuan Kieu Noodle & Grill, the leche frita at Cafe Sevilla, and the happy hour sushi at Ginzaya.

Gustavo stopped by Tanakaya in Tustin for some yummy soba and also told us to try the consomme from Tacos y Birria El Guero and the sangrita from Lola Gaspar.

Charles shared the best way to sear a steak and thought about Burger King's chicken fries making a comeback. He also stated that the “trekking burger” is a war crime against burgers.

Anne Marie interviewed Justin Lopez of Stonefire Grill for her On The Line column. She introduced the menu makeover at Taco Asylum, and got the scoop of the kitchen-staff walkout at Hopscotch.

Dave announced the beginning of hatch chile roasting season and shattered dreams about the craft whiskey movement. Gabriel told us about the Middle Eastern restaurant owner who banned Loretta Sanchez and ripped up her award to him. Aaand, last but not least, Sarah took us to Hamburger Mary's for a Long Beach Lunch.

Until next time, have a good one, from all of us at Stick a Fork In It!
