This Week In Food: Beer Festivals, Chimay Challenge, and the Best Seafood in the Americas

Hello lovely readers, welcome to May. Let's take a look at what happened in the last week of April.

Edwin reviewed Zoomak Asian Bistro in Buena Park and they have some very intense seafood (see, photo above). He gave us the Restaurant Roll Call for April, told us that Old Malaya Grill is open in Huntington Beach, and said Burger King is bringing back the "Subservient Chicken."

Gustavo checked out the innovative, Hood Kitchen Space for his Hole in the Wall column. He showed us a photo of the new signs at In-N-Out that ban e-cigs, and wondered if chimichangas were invented by Chinese in Mexico.

Dave told us to eat the cemita de milanesa from La Cemita Poblana and gave us the lowdown on the "Waffogato." Anne Mare interviewed Mike Doctulero from Scott's Restaurant and Bar for her On The Line column and announced that Bondi Grill House in now open in Huntington Beach. Bill returned with Tijuana Sí! and told us to eat some of the best seafood in the Americas at Festival de las Conchas y el Vino Nuevo 2014.

Kristine named five cold drinks to survive the windy heat. Kiera told us how to make mac-n-cheese pizza. Sarah went to Robert Earl's BBQ for her Long Beach Lunch. Cleo listed questions you must ask yourself when choosing which beer festival to attend (what is all of them?), and I brought you a video where OC Weekly staffers get drunk during the Chimay Challenge at The Globe in Garden Grove.
