If you're going to be at the mall anyway, The Shops at Mission Viejo is celebrating its upgraded food court (so upgraded they're calling a “Dining Pavillion”) with live entertainment, a face painter, a ballon artist and all of their vendors giving out samples and special offers tomorrow (Saturday, December 6).
The first 250 guests will get a bag of swag, while they last. Also there will be giveaways every hour. The thing starts at 11 a.m., ends at 4 p.m.
Forgot what's vendors are actually there at the food cour…er, “Dining Pavillion”? It's the same line-up as before.

You know: Blaze Pizza, Charley's Grilled Subs, Great Khan's, Muscle Beach Lemonade & Hot Dogs, Panda Express, Paradise Bakery & Café, Rubio's Baja Grill. Ruby Thai, Sarku Japan, and Smashburger.
But now, apparently you can eat your food court food in a snazzy new modern area with orange and lime-colored furniture, new flooring, and electronic charging stations for your tablets and laptops.
And yes, this is the same mall that made national news two days ago with the story about the mall Santa, the autistic girl and her pit bull service dog.
