The poke craze continues, y'all. On December 19, The Low-Key Poke Joint, which is located in the same complex as Brodard Restaurant and 85 C Bakery in Garden Grove, is having its grand opening at 11 a.m. To celebrate, the staff is offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal for its bowls. Bring a friend!
The new poke shop operates the way Pokinometry and several other shops do where you get in line and customize your order. For your base, choose between "boo-tea" rice (a rice blend containing bamboo and green tea), white rice, kale salad, and—this is new—taro chips. Fish choices include salmon, tuna, scallops, and shrimp. To finish your order, pick your preferred sauces and traditional toppings like seaweed and masago.
Staying true to its name, there isn't much more information about the shop online. But if you're curious, follow the shop on Instagram @thelowkeypokejoint or stop by in-person.
The Low-Key Poke Joint is located at 9904 Westminster Avenue in Garden Grove.
