So unique, so one of a kind, as you view item after item, you'll automatically know that this is the only store in Southern California where you will be able to find hard-to-get products from New Mexico, Arizona and Baja California. Owner Delilah Snell (wife of our Mexican-in-Chief) is constantly looking and listening for what her customers want, whether it's chocolate from Oaxaca, chile powder from New Mexico, wine from Valle de Guadalupe or hot sauces from Ensenada. Alta Baja also offers a breakfast and lunch menu that ranges from hearty frittatas to tortas created from the next-door Electric City Butcher to made-from-scratch bread pudding topped with homemade jams.
