The Hobbit in Orange Makes OpenTable's 100 Best Restaurants for 2011

Restauranteurs might loathe them, but diners love OpenTable. Over the years, it's evolved into its own app and even allowed members to submit ratings and reviews. A San Francisco-based company, we can only imagine the hate mail it received when it released its Diners' Choice: Top 100 Restaurants in the United States; no SF establishments were on the list.

Orange County received 1 percent unoccupied love, as The Hobbit was the only Southern California  Los Angeles/Orange County location listed (Addison at the Grand Del Mar being the only one farther south). Kudos to the Hobbit for keeping guests coming back for three-hour dinners!
