Beer lovers of Orange County, what are you doing tomorrow night?
Hie thee to Playground from 5-10 p.m. for the Bruery's 4th anniversary dinner. The hops wizards of Placentia will be bringing plenty of beer, the kitchen mavens will be pairing foods with the beer, and Bruery alumnus and current Playground director of liquid sustenance Jarred Dooley says he has some “library” beers to bring out in limited quantity, including the original '09 Oude Tart, which won pretty much every beer award in its path.
The smart money here would reserve a table by calling the restaurant (see below); there is some limited room for walk-ins, but go with patience. Click through to see the food and beer pairings, all served à la carte; there will be additional beers available.
