Tasti D-Lite in Tustin–the first California franchise location of the East Coast low-calorie frozen dessert chain–has closed.
It opened in late 2011 and was supposed to be the first of many more West Coast stores. As Anne Marie wrote in her post about the opening, the chain was featured in The Apprentice, Sex and the City, even 30 Rock, where Liz Lemon not-so-subtly endorsed it while calling attention to the obvious attempt at product placement even though it wasn't one (Tina Fey is reportedly a fan).

But the lone California storefront now bears no sign it was ever a Tasti D-Lite–it's completely cleaned out and move-in-ready for the next tenant.
