You've recovered from Sunday's double whammy of egg hunting and pot smoking. What next? Another tasting event, of course. Sunday, April 27, is when locals can attack an all-you-can-eat lineup of tastes from a grip of beach city/surf city joints. Mark the calendar for an afternoon of sunscreen between 12 – 4 p.m.

Before you balk at the $65 general admission ticket, I should remind you that this is a fundraiser for the Huntington Beach Children's Library. Over 40 restaurants will be in attendance. Not bad at all for a Sunday. In fact, some of our favorite restaurants will be serving. Taste of HB began in the 80s, and has raised over $300,000.
Look forward to Solita Tacos & Margaritas chef Deb Schneider and Zimzala's Roy Hendrickson, for starters. The normally well-hidden Red Table is also scheduled. Let's not forget some of our favorite chains like Slapfish, Ritter's Steam Kettle Cooking, and even the hard-working crew at Slater's 50/50. That's enough bites for my hunger pangs to subside. I think.
