Taco Bell Crime of the Week: Oh, Calcutta!


Not the Calcutta in India (now usually called Kolkata), but the Calcutta in Ohio–and you know you're in the boonies if the town your town is named after changed its names to keep modern.

Anyhoo, the crime:

A man accused of indecent exposure at the Calcutta Taco Bell on Tuesday pleaded guilty to the charge Thursday morning.

During
an East Liverpool Municipal Court appearance, George F. Cramer, 44, of
Eighth Avenue, LaCroft, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, with 15 days
suspended, and 45 days active for public indecency/engaging in a sexual
act.

Cramer was placed on two years supervised probation and
ordered to participate in mental health counseling. He was fined $250
and costs.

He was also told have no contact with the Taco Bell in Calcutta.

According
to the initial St. Clair Township police report, a female employee
reported noticing a man at the drive-through with his left hand
underneath his shirt. The female stated that upon receiving change for
his meal, the man then pulled up his shirt to reveal he was engaged in
an act of self-gratification. Another female employee also reported
witnessing the incident.
