Taco Bell Crime of the Week: Man Arrested for Arguing with Officer!

As Orange County law enforcement has shown again and again, it's not exactly smart to argue with a cop lest you get a beating that leaves you all pulpy and bloody–if you're lucky. And it's best not to argue with a cop when you're drunk. And it's best not to argue with a cop while you're drunk and he's just trying to eat his meal at Taco Bell.

From that beacon of intellect called Rockport, Georgia:

A man was arrested on drunk and disorderly charges after he argued with a police officer inside Taco Bell.

County police reports said the incident began around 7:14 p.m. on May 1 when an officer was dispatched to Chapman's Shoppette on South Main Street. An employee, Shiron Cook, told officers a man came into the store to get a check cashed. The employee cashed the check but the store manager wanted to see the man's identification. The man wouldn't show his identification, became upset, attempted to spit on the manager and ran away, reports said.
