A Salinas Taco Bell said its customers are constantly getting harassed by people who are aggressively asking for money outside the restaurant.
The store owner of the Taco Bell restaurant on South Main Street said panhandlers have consistently been there for the past five years, but that the panhandling has been especially aggressive this year. So much so, they said they're urging their customers to stop giving out any money.
"Just as you start to leave the drive through the panhandlers are standing here and it does make me uncomfortable," Cathy Chavez said.
