So she did. It's a teppanyaki. Owned by at least one of the people behind Shiki, which claims to be the oldest continuously running Japanese restaurant in the county, Tabi-Ji is the same kind of restaurant. It serves the familiar fare of Japanese staples like sushi, udon, teriyaki, and combo plates, but with more teppanyaki stations and space for their cooks to twirl their spatulas, construct onion volcanoes, and toss shrimp tails onto their hats.
