Starbucks Says There Is No Pumpkin Spice Latte Shortage; Confirms Pumpkin Spice Latte Ice Cream Rumors


To be honest, I had never heard of the Pumpkin Spice Latte until this year. And I've still not tasted what people are calling the “hipster's McRib”. Then again, I don't have a Twitter account and I'm barely on Facebook. But apparently there was two pieces of Pumpkin Spice Latte news yesterday:

1) After various Tweets reported that some Starbucks were running out of the flavor, the company reassured people that distribution centers were 100% stocked and there were “no actual pumpkin emergencies”. 
2) The company also confirmed another rumor running rampant through the Interwebs: Starbucks was finally going to turn its popular seasonal flavor into an ice cream. Starting from November 1, and continuing until February of next year, the flavor will be available in supermarket freezer aisles for $3.99 a pint.
