The waffle sandwich is the new black, apparently. When both Taco Bell and Jack in the Box have their own versions, you know it's officially a thing. Slater's 50/50 might be a bit late to the game, but–who cares? It's Slater's-freakin'-50/50.

It features a patty made with 50-percent ground chorizo and 50-percent ground bacon, topped with cheddar cheese, two sunny-side-up eggs and thick-cut bacon, and sandwiched between two deep-fried Eggo waffles and drenched in maple syrup.
The morning monstrosity is part of the chain's new breakfast menu served all day, every Sunday during football season at all locations. They're also introducing a donut burger and fried chicken and pancakes. Happy Sunday, indeed.
