If you did already, you would've gotten our compiled list of NYE specials. Here's just a taste of what I mostly ripped off from there, with a few others I added for good measure.

Reservations are recommended and required for most, so call ahead. And oh yeah, have a safe and happy new year!

Old Vine Cafe in Costa Mesa. A four-course wine-paired meals. Cost: $65 per person with wine pairings. 2937 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa, (714) 545-1411.

The Dock in Newport Beach. A four-course meal. $65 per person (5:30 p.m. seating) and $75 (second seating); add $35 for wine pairing. 2816 Lafayette Road, Newport Beach,(949) 673-3625.

Memphis at the Santora in Santa Ana. Three-course chef's menu with wine pairings from 5-10 p.m. Balloon drop at midnight with champagne. 201 N. Broadway, Santa Ana, (714) 564-1064.

Kimera Restaurant in Irvine. Rack of lamb or mustard-crusted salmon. Dinner for the first seating (up to 8 p.m.) is $45, or stay the entire night at your table for $75. 19530 Jamboree Rd., Irvine, (949) 261-1222.

Ambrosia at the OC Pavilion in Santa Ana. Seven-course dinner and a show. Two seatings are available. 801 North Main Street, Santa Ana, (714) 550-0811.
