Report: Fake Ingredients Found in Popular Foods


That pomegranate juice you got for cheap? It probably contains fillers of apple or grape, even though it purports to be 100% pomegranate juice. The bottled lemon juice you think is just plain old lemon juice is probably diluted with sugar and water. 

The EVOO you used might be mixed with cheaper oils. And worse, spices you bought like paprika and saffron may be adulterated with industrial coloring agents. 
So reports ABC News which got an exclusive preview of the findings slated to come out out today by U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention, a non-profit watchdog group that tests for food fraud.
