Rasoi Curry Point Takes Over Manila Groove Spot In Tustin

It used to be that if you were a homesick Filipino living in the Irvine/Tustin area, you could go to Manila Groove to get some silogs in the morning and turo turo in the afternoon. That all ended last year when Tustin's only Filipino joint closed after six years in business.

Now the space has been taken up by an Indian restaurant called Rasoi Curry Point, which in turn should give a lot of homesick Indians (who already have at least a handful of restaurants in the area) even more options in Tustin.

Rasoi seems to specializes in lunch boxes that can be delivered to the surrounding area and offered for about $8. A typical lunch box menu includes two curries (or one dal and one curry), two roti, rice, raita, chutney and an appetizer.

They also offer the usual tandoor-cooked meats, lamb specialties, Hyderabadi biryanis, and Sino-Indian offerings like a chicken Manchurian.
