If I hear anyone else say "Le Cordon Blue" I'm going to scream. It's not "Blue", it's "Bleu", pronounced properly--the French way. I've been hearing the faux pas on TV over and over again recently, both in ads for local culinary schools and in a contest tie-in with the new Julie & Julia movie.
I've even seen websites misspell it as "Blue", which is plain dumb!!!
It's not difficult. It's BLEU, not BLUE.
