A tipster has informed us that Pee Wee's Famous Hot Dogs and Hamburgers has closed. We've written about the hole-in-the-wall many times over the years since it opened in 2010.
We've even included it in our list of 10 best hot dog joints and 10 best burger joints. We even had it as a contender in our Game of Burgers tournament (which, yes, we kinda never finished) and our Sausage Issue last summer.

Even as we called them out for a few missteps, we liked Pee Wee's, a lot. Farewell Pee Wee's. We were just getting to know you.
