OC Grub Guide For 9/15-9/21: Brew Ha Ha, Pizza and Tequila!

This week's events feature beer and pizza. Need we say more? We didn't think so. There's also dessert! If you've got a eating/drinking/food-related event to promote, drop us a line. It might just end up here.

Free Freezes at Pressed Juicery – Irvine Spectrum

Pressed Juicery at Spectrum isn't new, but their new FREEZE machines are! Grab some cool sweets (Size 1, whatever that means) on Saturday between 1-4 p.m. Oh, and the first 50 guests in line receive a $25 gift card. We bet the line is shorter here than at Hello Kitty Cafe. Just sayin'.

Firestone Walker Tap Takeover at Amazing Grapes – Rancho Santa Margarita
No need to drive to Paso Robles, Buellton or even Venice to enjoy great beer. Hit up Amazing Grapes this Saturday for a few cool pints. Draft list includes 805 Blonde, Double Jack, Luponic Distortion #3, Nitro DBA, Pivo Pils and Union Jack. But wait, there's more! We almost forgot Bretta Weisse and Opal. Bottle-wise, you can request Bretta Rose and Hell Dorado 2016. The good times start at 3 p.m.

Tequila Tasting at Museum of Latin American Art – Long Beach
Are you wanting more options on Saturday? Okay. Cross county lines for an evening of blanco, reposado and anejo. Also on the roster: a visit from our pal, Mezcal. Eat lots with your unlimited sips as you sway to a DJ and reggae band. Check out the participating brand listing and learn more about your entertainment at their event page.

Fresh Brothers “Pay What You Want” Fundraiser and Grand Opening – Irvine
Located off Jamboree between Bryan and Irvine Blvd, Orange County's fourth Fresh Brothers is just about ready to open. To kick things off, they plan on fundraising on behalf of six neighborhood schools. On September 21 (Wednesday), diners are encouraged to contribute the entire value of the meal they order to either Canyon View Elementary, Stonegate Elementary or Tustin Memorial Academy. The next night, the schools benefiting are Northwood Elementary, Orchard Hills Elementary and Sierra Vista Middle School. The newest location is at 13528 Jamboree Road. Coming Soon: OC Brew Ha Ha on September 24 – Silverado
The 7th annual rain or shine, 21-and-over festival is back! In addition to free shuttle service from the event to Tustin Metrolink, VIPs can check-in as early as noon.  General admission begins at 1 p.m. Over 90 breweries will be pouring 250+ beers, including the collaboration between Bottle Logic and AleSmith Brewing, Stable Orbit. Visit the event website for details on this featured brew, additional FAQs and ticket sales.
