Hey there! It's another edition of our OC Weekly Grub Guide. Or as we like to refer to it, "Where you're gonna eat and drink for the forseeable future." We celebrate all sorts of deliciousness this holiday weekend, and look forward to an urban beer dinner next week. Where do we begin?

Free fries at The Halal Guys - Costa Mesa
If you tell our cashier friends over in that busy plaza, "Happy National Gyro Day!" TODAY, those Halal Guys will hook you up with a hot order of potatoes to go with your lunch platter. This is good at all of their Southern California locations, so Long Beach and K-town, listen up!
zCafe 5-year anniversary - Costa Mesa
The little cafe that could celebrates a milestone out on their third floor, South Coast Plaza patio. Featuring beers from Anaheim Brewery, stop by tomorrow for happy hour specials that'll keep your wallet happy. The celebration starts at 4 p.m. and will include half-off beers, plus a brewery glass to take home (Note: This event was rescheduled from August 19.)

Matador Cantina pig roast - Fullerton
Continue the long weekend in Downtown Fullerton, as we pause for complimentary wood-fired carnitas tacos and live music over at Matador. Check out their other specials as you chill on the patio this Sunday. And remember, the next day is a holiday!
Coming soon: Grits Fullerton Beer Dinner with Sierra Nevada Brewing Company
The featured brewery may change, but the culinary mind that Cody possesses remains constant. Next Friday, they team up with Sierra Nevada for a six-course meal inspired by California cities. Each course will be paired with rare releases, including Beer Camp beers. Reservations are taken via their website, and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
