Memphis at the Santora and 6ix Park Grill Are the Places to Be Election Night for Dems, Reeps, Respectively

For most Election Night parties, the local Democrats and Republicans tend to rent hotel ballrooms to watch the night unfold–the Donkeys, usually at the Disneyland Hotel or in one of the hotels 'round Disneyland, the GOP, at the Irvine Hyatt or the Westin in Costa Mesa.

This year, however, both parties will hold tomorrow's election shindigs near great restaurants. The Democratic Party of Orange County isn't officially holding its weeping party at Memphis at the Santora in downtown SanTana, but it might as well be: Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez has asked her supporters to gather at the historic building that houses Memphis, while SanTana mayoral opponents Don Papi Pulido (the incumbent) and Alfredo Amezcua (the challenger) will have their rallies across the street.

As for the Republicans? After the jump!

Their party is at the Irvine Hyatt, home to the always-pleasing 6ix Park Grill. I'll leave it up to the readers to make metaphors out of the restaurant choices for each party, but I heartily endorse each eatery.
